There are so many things to be thankful for this year. Here are a few I’m thankful for. First of all, I am thankful for my friends at school. Yesterday, I went out to Raising Cane’s with a few of my friends from class. It was fun hanging out with them and that was my first time going out with friends. We are already planning a bowling day at Round One at the Main Place Mall in December. The 2nd thing I am thankful for is baseball. Honestly, if I didn’t have baseball, I would have nothing to do after school and I would just sit around. It’s also fun to play games on the weekends and it’s pretty relaxing just having fun with my teammates. Another thing I’m thankful for is my family. I know this sounds basic, but I love my sisters, my brother, and my parents. Without my parents, I wouldn’t be born! I also love my grandparents. They are so nice and they are just so awesome. These are some basic ideas, but these are things that I’m thankful for.

Poof! A genie has appeared. He tells me he will grant me three wishes. Here’s what I would wish for. First, I would wish for a composition book. I would need it for later on in my wishes. The genie only has one rule, and that is that you can’t wish for more wishes. My second wish would be a pencil that never breaks or gets dull, I don’t know about you, but a fresh, sharp pencil always looks and feels good to me. I am smart with my wishes, so I don’t need to worry about any of my wishes. My third wish is for everything I write in the book comes true for forever. That means if I write something like “I wish for $1,000,000,’’ it has to come true. I would also write down “I wish this book would never run out of pages.” I should also wish the book cannot be damaged. This way my wishes would never stop. I wouldn’t need to wish for something like more genies or more wishes because I already have unlimited wishes. I could wish to turn invisible whenever I want, I could fly, I could meet Elon Musk! There are a lot of things I could do if I got three wishes from a genie.
